TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Our top priorities are orientation to the interests of our customers,
and maximum-possible customer satisfaction.

 |
More than 7,000 antenna towers
has been produced with heights from 10 to 130 meters, and up to 4
meters in diameter. These systems include poles executed as spun
concrete, as well as steel and plastic poles. With over 30 years
of experience in spun-concrete technology, Pfleiderer is the leading
manufacturers of antenna mounts in Europe. |
We support you with all services required
for planning, implementation, and commissioning of a telecommunications
network. Our turnkey package includes planning and design of base
stations, project implementation (including steel and antenna structures,
electrical engineering, lightning protection, etc.), as well as the
construction and commissioning of systems- technology facilities.
In addition to our offer for open-area sites and roof locations, we
also provide the infrastructure required for outdoor and indoor locations,
rooms for systems technology, and container locations in turnkey procedures.
We guarantee closeness to our customers and fast problem solutions
onsite. |
 |
 |
In cases in which new construction
is not possible, or if the authorities do not grant a building permit,
you can profit from our efficient detail solutions for replacement
construction, special foundations, retrofitting with existing structures,
as well as reinforcement of telecommunications poles. Structural stability
and optimal utilization of your location are always our top priorities
in such projects.

GRP - A Clear Advantage
Top Quality - Greater Safety
 |
We make it easier to implement
antenna poles in open areas and on roofs in many different ways. |
- Smooth, homogeneous surfaces
- Non-conductive - fully insulated owing to the material properties
(protection against lightning)
- The pole is weather and corrosion resistant - No need to remove corrosion
or to paint the pole
- Insensitive to UV radiation
- GRP poles are extremely scratch resistant
- Poles can be coloured in any attractive, sun-fast RAL colour
Simple to Assemble - Easy
to Transport
The GRP antenna poles and mounts can be completely pre-assembled in the
factory. This considerably shortens the installation time. Assembly and
transport are no longer a problem due to the low dead weight (see
also Technical Details).
Our poles can be supplied with an optional tipping base plate. This makes
it possible to mount the antennas, ladders and cable ways already on the
ground.

Manufacture
In a patented spinning procedure the poles are manufactured in chrome-plated
steel moulds using glass fibre composites with polyester resin. The glass-fibre
reinforcement with its high tensile strength is optimally aligned according
to the direction of the load. The strong centrifugal forces exerted during
the production process cause the compaction of the reinforcement and matrix
materials.
Clever detail solutions
It is becoming more and more difficult to find acceptance among the general
population for the integration of radio transmission facilities in urban
areas. We likewise consider it part of our responsibility to counter this
pressure.
We combine trends with the latest in technology, and thereby create
innovative products customized for your requirements. In a pilot project
together with a customer, we have developed our so-called lamp mast with
integrated antenna units. The special feature of this pole is that the
antennas for UMTS, GSM, and radio link system can be hidden in the supposed
lighting units. These lighting components are made of electromagnetically
permeable fiberglass-reinforced plastic, which ensures favorable transmission
of radio telecommunications signals.
Public debate on the optical effects of transmitting stations has directed
prime attention to the topic of the cladding of poles and antennas. One
highly promising alternative is a pole very cleverly disguised as a tree.
We also offer effective solutions for poles on building roofs. Design
elements enclose the antenna mount and enable it to optimally match the
surrounding townscape.
