Power encompasses steel and concrete transmission-line pylons up to 50
m in height. These slender structures for medium-voltage and high-voltage
line systems can be combined with various cross arms, and require a small
footprint of land - with, in turn, a resulting reduction in the width
of protection zones. The so-called hybrid mode of construction represents
a new development in this field of business: the installation of steel
mast attachments on top of a concrete mast.
