LIGHTING

Products supplied by the Lighting business field have great impact on the design and appearance of roads and streets. For this reason, SETRON offers lighting masts in a great number and variety of models: steel, concrete, and fibreglass-reinforced plastic structures; conical, cylindrical, and octagonal models; masts for pole-top equipment attachment and for cantilever mounting; as well as models for accommodating lighting systems and catenary lines.

Overview of FRP Poles

The selection criteria for lighting poles must consider the total investment costs of the illumination project including long term maintenance costs and required technical specifications. To meet these requirements glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) is the best material for lighting and signal poles. The mechanical, dynamic and electrical properties, the low specific gravity and the built-in weathering and corrosion resistance and durability of GRP are far superior to the other materials. GRP poles produced by a centrifugal process in one operation. The poles are reinforced and have a smooth surface. SETRON supplies poles with or without extender up to 14m in height for traffic, signal or flag pole applications. SETRON offer distinct technical and economic advantages over the types of poles, including low foundation, assembly, erection and transportation costs combined with minimal costs for grounding and maintenance resulting in optimum cost/ performance. They meet all necessary safety standards and the cost/performance results can be confirmed through existing installation.
